KUTEERA 2011– EXHIBITION & SALE OF CRAFTS
(19 - 26 FEBRUARY 2011) Bangalore
Kuteera – the annual exhibition and sale of crafts was held at the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, in which 45 craftspersons participated.
The workshop was sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, New Delhi.
DESIGN AND TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP IN WOOD CARVING
03 -17 FEBRUARY 2010) MYSORE
The Crafts Council of Karnataka organised a design and technical development workshop, for wood carving in Mysore. Designer Shri Anandbabu M. Ambarkhane conducted the workshop in which 30 craftspersons participated.
The event was sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts,) Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, New Delhi.

World Elders Day was celebrated by The Crafts Council of Karnataka, in association with Ashvasan Foundation, Shri. Krishnappa, wood – inlay craftsperson from Mysore was presented a purse of Rs. 10,000.

The Crafts Council of Karnataka’s annual flag ship event Vastrabharana - Exhibition and Sale of hand- crafted textiles and jewellery was held between 01 – 05 October 2010 .
Smt. Sudha Gopala Krishnan of Infosys Foundation inaugurated the exhibition.
